Today has been pretty normal and dull. Double chemistry, double psychology. Tonight on the other hand, was rather wonderfully interesting. We sang in a refurbished church to a bunch of people that were probably expecting to have a quiet drink, until Funky arrived. It was a very odd setting...nothing was really set out, there was no one to be specifically performing to really, but oddly, it was one of my favourite venues to sing at. We've sung there before, for the Talentcall heats last year, so it brought back some fond memories of FLSC what with it being one of our bigger events. But it was just such a quaint little place to be! It was lovely and cosy, and generally just a lovely place to sing! I would love Funky to do more little events like that.
After this little singing session, some of us went out into Bournemouth and explored what else was happening at the 'Light Night/Inside Out Festival'. We found a light display in the square, which we didn't really understand the point of at first...everyone was just sort of stood watching a big screen above Debenhams, whilst a random man on a crane played with some weird heat sensitive lights. No-one was playing with the lights like they should have been, everyone was just standing still, expecting something amazing to happen. So when we returned later on, we decided to run around like absolute lunatics, to try and show everyone what they should be doing. Even though nobody else joined in and probably thought we were absolutely nuts, it was hilarious fun!
We also went to see Miss Riley's band perform at the Bandstand. They're pretty awesome, and she's got a wicked voice.
I think thats pretty much everything I need to write about.
Now, for some sleep.
